Sutter Home Wine Review

California - Sutter Home Chardonnay undergoes partial malolactic fermentation and wood aging to impart a smooth, round texture and rich, creamy tones. The wine is then aged in stainless-steel tanks to retain fresh, fruit character and acidity.

California- plummy colour, clear. nose: dark, ripe, sweet fruits. taste: quite fruity, even balanced. Black cherry, dark fruit & cedar box aromas w/slight spice & chocolate nuances. Flavors of currant w/notes of spices & herbs, and dark licorice.

California - Sutter Home was the first winery to create White Zinfandel in the 1970s. The concentrated free-run juice of Zinfandel grapes is cold-fermented at 60°F in stainless-steel tanks to enhance the wine’s fresh aromas, fruity flavors and crisp acidity.

California - Pinot Grigio from California tends to be more fruit-forward than its Italian counterpart. Sutter Home Pinot Grigio is cold-fermented at 55°F and aged entirely in stainless-steel tanks to maintain the wine’s delicate aromas and crisp acidity.

California - Sutter Home has produced this fragrant, sweet wine for over 50 years—in fact, Moscato was the very first wine we bottled. To preserve its fresh, fragrant aromas and flavors, our Moscato is cold-fermented at 50°F and aged in stainless-steel tanks.

California - Fruity, smooth, and made to be enjoyed immediately, Sutter Home Merlot is fermented in stainless-steel tanks at cool temperatures to preserve its cherry flavors and aromas. The result is a full-bodied, silky wine with delicious fruit characteristics.
