Tannin Wine

Maule Valley, Chile - This is an intense, complex wine with aromas and flavors of black cherries, blueberries, hazelnut, vanilla, leather and toasted. In the palate it has a very good structure, with mature tannins, fresh black fruit, and a smoky, spicy character.

North Fork of Long Island, New York- This Bordeaux blend is comprised of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Balanced and full bodied, this wine is complex and flavorful, softened by its velvety tannins.

Galilee, Israel - A deep purple wine with soft, pleasant tannins, aromas of violet, cassis and toast and lively, complex blackberry flavors. Pairs well with a well-made meatloaf, baked manicotti or duck confit.

Salta, Argentina - Intense ruby red with slight purple reflections. Aroma: An aromatic and fruity wine, with hints of the pepper that is characteristic of the region. Well-structured and full-bodied, with soft tannins and a toasted finish.

Carneros, CA-The aromas are fresh and floral with red plum, black cherry blossom and hibiscus scents. The palate showcases a savory medley of Jamaica tea, dried berry, herb and spice flavors. This wine is bright, crisp and balanced with soft tannins and layers of textures.

Mendoza, Argentina - Blending handpicked grapes from Valle de Uco and Maipu, this Malbec Reserva displays concentrated flavors of blackberries and ripe plums with a combination of violets and cherries. Oak aging gives this wine a long, complex finish with remarkable sweet tannins.

Texas- Full bodied and rich, this excellent Cabernet Sauvignon benefits from fruit aromas that you smell and taste immediately. The smooth tannins allow this wine to be enjoyed on its own, or as a complement to a variety of meals.

Napa, California- It has a gorgeously deep ruby purple color, a sweet kiss of licorice and flavors of blackcurrants, black cherries, camphor and incense. The wine is fragrant, with supple tannins, an opulent lushness.

Fronsac, France - Elegant and harmonious, layered with ripe red berries, plum, and delicate floral hints, this wine flows across the palate with smooth tannins and balanced acidity. Subtle spice and earthy undertones add depth, leading to a long, refined finish.

McMinnville, Willamette Valley, Oregon- Aromas of rose petals and plum with flavors of cherry and red berry upfront that lingers effortlessly on refined tannins giving an expressive finish. Pairs well with pork, poultry or seafood.

4th Growth, Pauillac, Bordeaux, France- "Aromas of blackberries, black olives, lead pencil and blueberries. Full-bodied with very velvety tannins. It’s big and rich for Margaux, but then it tightens at the finish. It will come around with bottle age. One for the cellar."

Tuscany, Italy - A classic and full-bodied Toscana Rosso with fresh and clean aromas of red fruits, and soft tannins. Enjoy alone, or with hard cheese, roasted lamb or pasta with meat sauce.

Chile - Intense ruby color, medium-full body, and intense aromas of cassis, ripe black fruit, spices, and menthol nuances. Oak aging adds resinous and vanilla notes. The palate shows a solid structure, vibrant acidity, and robust tannins, with flavors of cassis, licorice, and spices.

Italy- Give this a little swirl to bring out the lovely wild-strawberries and ash-like mineral notes. Some sweet floral notes, too. Medium to light body with bright acidity, but tight, slightly drying tannins for now. Should even out very soon. Real young nebbiolo here. Drink from 2022.

4th Growth, St Julien, Bordeaux, France- "Dark-berry and blue-fruit character to the firm, chewy tannins that are polished and solid. Medium to full body. Wood and walnut undertones now. Impressive."

Provence, France- "Very spicy, red fruits like cherries. Aroma of violets and liquorice. Strong and silky tannins." Pair with rib of beef, stuffed vegetables, beef stew and beef casserole.

Tuscany, Italy- A superb blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet and Merlot from this leading Tuscan estate in the esteemed Montepulciano zone. Roasted coffee, plum and spice lead to a soft but intense palate with very gentle, sikly tannins. A wonderful all purpose red for the dinner table.
