Von Trapp Lager

United States - Vermont - Brewed with Pilsner malt, flaked rice, and Bavarian noble hopvarietals, this single decocted, light-bodied pale lager is super dry, crisp, and easy drinking, with subtle notes of hay, honeysuckle, jasmine, and fresh cut grass.

Vermont- German Pilsner- 5.4% ABV. Our award winning interpretation of a Bohemian Style Pilsner. Spicy, citrus peel botanicals combine with a dry, peppery finish to create a truly thirstquenching lager. A beer that demands you take more than one sip.

Vermont- Munich Helles Lager- 4.9% ABV. From the German word for "Bright", our golden lager displays a floral hop aroma with a bready malt balance. Helles is brewed with pilsner malt, and perle and tettnanger hops resulting in an incredibly clean yet complex lager.

Vermont- Munich Dunkel Lager- Brilliant crimson hues from large amounts of Munich malts. Bitterness is moderate, with just enough to balance out any sweetness from the malt. Dunkel is smooth, rich and complex, but does not finish heavy.

Vermont- Marzen/Oktoberfest - 5.6% ABV. Brewed with a blend of light and dark Munich malts. Caramel and toffee notes linger but are balanced by the subtle hop additions. We use Hallertau and Tettnanger hops to add a floral yet peppery aroma to our take of a traditional fest beer.

Vermont - Rauchbier - 6.2% ABV. Our Maple Rauchbier is a tribute to the liquid gold created each spring in the von Trapp sugarhouse. A touch of smoked malt, a blend of Munich and Carafe malt for a subtle base layer of smoke, a deep hue, and full body, balanced with noble hops

United States - Vermont - This collaboration with Counter Weight Brewing of Cheshire, Connecticut, is a roasty winter lager with a subtle sweetness balanced by spicy Saaz hops and is naturally carbonated using traditional techniques.

United States - Connecticut - This collaboration with Live Oak Brewing of Austin, Texas we brewed A Bamberg-style pale lager. This unfiltered Helles is gold in color with subtle notesof campfire, hay, and honeysuckle with a medium-light body and bright and crisp finish.
