Burgundy’s house of Louis Bouillot was founded in 1877 by Jean Bouillot, a wine and spirit merchant who named the label in honor of his father. Located in Nuits-Saint-Georges in the heart of the famous Côte du Nuits, Louis Bouillot is dedicated to creating the region’s great sparkling wine, Crémant de Bourgogne.
The wine is made with old-world attention to detail, with harvesting and sorting done by hand. Then the grapes are placed in small individual crates to minimize damage, and limited juice extraction ensures the best fruit concentration. The wines are made from both Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes using the time-honored Méthode Traditionnelle.
Louis Bouillot sparkling wines have a loyal following among discerning consumers who appreciate the highest-quality Crémant de Bourgogne available at extraordinary prices.
