Louis Martini Cabernet Monte RossoThe Monte Rosso Cabernet Sauvignon was handcrafted from specifically chosen blocks on the legendary Monte Rosso Vineyard, which rolls across steep, rugged terrain in the majestic Mayacamas Mountains nearly 1,300 feet above the Sonoma Valley. Owned by the Louis M. Martini Winery since 1938, it is named for its rich, red volcanic soils and has produced award-winning wines for three generations. This impressive, full-bodied wine has great depth, intense fruit and a surprisingly soft mouthfeel for such concentration. The wine swirls with aromas and flavors that include ripe blackberries and raspberries plus earthy notes of mushroom and sage. Aging in French Oak created assertive-but-smooth tannins that melt seamlessly into a lingering, elegant finish filled with flavors of cinnamon, toasted oak and brown sugar.
Louis Martini Cabernet SonomaThe Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon wine reflects the best of the warm, narrow Dry Creek Valley and the hot yet wind-cooled Alexander Valley. Together, these unique features create a rich, superbly balanced Cabernet Sauvignon with copious yet supple tannins. Those tannins make the young wine approachable but will still give it enough texture to age gracefully. This vintage had a long, calm growing season, helping create elevated and concentrated flavors that include wild berries, plum, licorice and mocha. The full-bodied and mouth-coating feel on the palate leads to a long, graceful finish with tones of intense fruit, dried herbs and cedar inside firm structure
Louis Martini Cabernet NapaThe Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits a deep burgundy color and complex aromas of dark fruit and dried herbs. On the palate, concentrated flavors of blackberry, black cherry and cassis are framed by licorice and toasted cedar on the long finish. Rich and broad in the mouth, this excellently balanced wine has an expansive mid-palate and sturdy tannins.
Louis Martini Cabernet AlexanderThe dark purplish-red hue of Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is indicative of its decadent blueberry and black cherry aromas and flavors. Notes of smoky cedar, dried herbs and licorice unfold around this wine’s assertive tannins that will soften with age. Rich and well-structured with a long, lingering finish, this wine is an ideal complement to earthy dishes, wild game and red meats. |
