This Philadelphia-based cocktail dating back to the 18th century has such a great story that we don't even have room to share it here. The reason it's stuck around for over 200 years? It's delicious!

Ingredients
- 1 oz. Dark Rum
- 1 oz. Cognac
- 3/4 oz. Peach Liqueur or Brandy
- 1/2 oz. simple syrup
- 3/4 oz. lime juice
- Lime slice and maraschino cherry to garnish
Instructions
- Pour all ingredients into a shaker tin and add ice.
- Shake hard until well-chilled.
- Strain into a double old fashioned glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with a lime slice and a cherry.
