Overview
One of the most well-known modern classics, this cocktail was created at Sasha Petraski's Milk & Honey in New York City in the mid-2000's and quickly swept the nation.

Ingredients
- 2 oz. blended Scotch
- 3/4 oz. ginger liqueur
- 1/2 oz. honey syrup
- 3/4 simple syrup
- Float of Islay single malt Scotch
Instructions
- Pour all ingredients except Islay single malt into a shaker tin and add ice.
- Shake hard until well-chilled.
- Strain into an Old Fashioned glass filled with ice.
- Float Islay single malt on surface of cocktail.
