Blankiet Estate Wines is located in the cooler part of the Napa Valley on the western foothills of the Mayacamas Mountains above Yountville. Land in this area has been the source of legendary wines and is of impeccable pedigree. Grapes planted in this region take longer to mature on the vine allowing for riper tannins, darker pigmentation and deeply perfumed fruit. To preserve the flavors of the fruit, Blankiet takes extra care in fermenting each pick separately in small custom-made stainless-steel tanks.
