Moulin-à-Vent

Moulin-à-Vent is sometimes referred to as the King of the Beaujolais Crus, those wines designated as superior within the larger Beaujolais region, as it offers the most intensity and elegance among Beaujolais wines. Made from the Gamay grape, when aged in oak it can also be the most age-worthy, capable of cellaring 10 years or more and reaching an extraordinary level of complexity. Moulin-à-Vent offers loads of red and black fruit flavors, complemented by silky tannins and an inviting bouquet. Moulin-à-Vent pairs wonderfully with game and other grilled meats.
